THE LITTLE GREENE PAINT COMPANY

Working closely with English Heritage their palette of true period paint colours takes in all the key periods of interior design from early Georgian to the 1950s. Some of the colours are iconic and some are timeless classics. All are totally authentic and work with Little Greene's contemporary colours to provide the Colours of England collection which is easy to use and a pleasure to live with.

Environmentally Friendly Paints and Wallpapers
At Little Greene we have always been committed to the ongoing well-being and protection of the world environment and in 2004 we were one of the first UK paint manufacturers to achieve the European environmental standard BS EN ISO 14001. From big business decisions to the smallest everyday tasks, we continue to act positively and responsibly to minimize our ecological impact, without compromising our high quality standards.

Water based paints
All our waterbased paints carry the industry's lowest eco-rating, with VOC content now virtually zero. This means you don't need to worry about solvent contributions to the atmosphere or any respiratory issues, or the smell; they are virtually odourless.

Oil Based Paints
Oil based paints are traditionally favoured because of their renowned longevity and superb finish. Purists need not fear; Little Greene oil based paints have been reformulated with sustainable vegetable oils to dramatically reduce VOC content and odour.

Recycling
Our paint tins are made using over 50% recycled steel and can be recycled again, and all our paperwork is printed on recycled or sustainably sourced paper. We are continually developing our packaging and warehousing procedures to increase the content of recycled and recyclable material and have achieved waste reduction of 57% in the last three years.

Safe For Children
We offer the safest choices for decorating children's rooms and furniture. Our acrylic Matt Emulsion and Acrylic Eggshell paints have been tested to European Standard BS EN 71-3:1995, also known as ‘Toy Paint Regulations' - these are proven safe from toxic metals.

All our paints and wallpapers are manufactured in the UK and we actively source from suppliers who can match our commitment to local industries. We're dedicated to minimising pollution, energy consumption and distribution overheads whilst supporting the local business community.

SANDERSON

Spectrum Paints

Sanderson's Spectrum paint collection is one of the most extensive pastel to midcolour palettes available. The Sanderson design team have created the collection to ensure their colours, shades and tones coordinate perfectly with all Sanderson products - wallpapers, fabrics, bed linen and accessories. Because of their high quality and superb coverage, the Spectrum paints are frequently recommended by decorators and stylists, as it has very good 'opacity' (wall coverage) as well as an extensive selection of colours (as pointed out by Living Etc there are' no fewer than 25 yellowwhite shades' in the collection). All 1352 colours are available in Vinyl Matt, Vinyl Soft Sheen and Acrylic Eggshell (water based) and Gloss & Eggshell (oil based).

ANNIE SLOAN

Chalk Paint™ decorative paint by Annie Sloan

Chalk Paint™ is a unique paint in 24 decorative and historical colours made specifically for painting furniture, painting floors, painting 'blackboards' and for giving walls a completely matt velvety finish.

Annie Sloan developed her now famous Chalk Paint™ to answer the need she had for a paint which would have many uses from acting like limewash to looking like old painted furniture and that had a good range of colour that could be extended by the user. This paint is very easy to work with and allows people to be creative as one doesn't get involved with the technicalities of preparation and it also allows you to change your mind without hassle. For those of you that attended our Revamp Your Furniture workshops in Crouch End you will know how easy this paint is to use !

All 24 colours are available in a sample pot and 1 litre size.
Clear / Antique wax, crackle glaze and decoupage varnish also available.
